FAQs / Delivery
How does delivery work?

Orders are locked 7 days before delivery. We currently deliver only on Saturdays. We will reach out to you 6 days before your delivery to arrange a preferred delivery timeslot.

If you are an existing customer, your order will be locked at 6pm on Saturday, and shipped 7 days later on Saturday of the following week. (For example, your order will be locked at 6pm on Sat 24 Oct for delivery on Sat 31 Oct)

If you are a new customer, please take note of the date for the menu you have selected. (For example, if you order from 24 Oct’s menu, your order will be shipped on 24 Oct)

 

Do I have to pay for shipping?

Good news! We provide free island-wide delivery.

What if I’m not home to receive the meal kits?

Your meal kits will arrive according to your selected timeslot on Saturday (9 am – 12 pm / 12pm – 3 pm / 3pm – 6 pm / 6pm – 9 pm).

If no one’s at home to receive them, our driver will leave them at your doorstep.

While we’ve packed each meal kit with insulated liners and ice packs to maintain the appropriate temperatures throughout the delivery, we highly recommend that you place them in your fridge or freezer as soon as they arrive.

Do take note that the freshness and quality of the ingredients may be affected if they’re not stored properly.

How do you keep the ingredients fresh during delivery?

We’ve packed each meal kit carefully with insulated liners and ice packs to ensure its freshness during delivery. Please put the kits in your fridge or freezer as soon as they reach your doorstep.

How do I skip a delivery?

How do I change my delivery time or address?

Login to your account here to edit your shipping and/or billing address.

To change your delivery time, please contact us at hello@kitchenhands.local or text/call us at +65 8866 9376 from Monday to Friday 11am-6pm.

What is the difference between billing date and delivery date?

Billing date is when your selections are locked and you are billed for your order. If you are a new customer, this will be the day of purchase. If you are an existing customer, this is on Saturdays.

Delivery date is when you receive your meal kits. For new customers, this will be the upcoming Saturday if ordered on Sunday or next Saturday otherwise. For existing customers, this will be 7 days after the billing date.
